2010 New England Pond Hockey Classic
February 5th-7th
Lake Winnipesaukee ▪ Meredith, New Hampshire
Bringing Hockey in New England Back to the Basics!
We are excited to help sponsor the first ever event on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, NH. This event is sure to become a tradition for hockey players all over New England. New England Pond Hockey Classic has worked hard to put together a weekend long tournament that will leave you with smiles on your face, soreness in your muscles and memories to cherish for years to come! So grab your buddies, grab your gear and head north to stake your claim as the New England Pond Hockey Classic Champions!
The pond. This is where hockey was born—under the open sky—where the ice is gritty and so is the play. For generations, rinkrats have grown up on outdoor ice. But, there are new climate-controlled arenas in every town, and that’s where the kids go to practice year-round now. The frozen ponds are losing their inhabitants.
Pond Hockey examines the changing culture of sports through insightful interviews with rink rats and hockey legends like Wayne Gretzky and Neal Broten alike.
More than just a celebration of a beloved game, Pond Hockey searches the open ice for the true meaning of sport.

January 30 - 31st
The Red Hill Ski Club is located on Sheriden Road in Moultonborough and brings skiing back to the basics – a small, local ski hill, where skiers and snowboarders gather to celebrate each snowfall. While we don’t have many of the frills found at large resorts, what we lack in modern amenities, we make up for in low-cost and convenient location. Stop by after school, or for a few hours on a Saturday morning. At Red Hill, all who like to play in the snow are welcome to come and enjoy the pleasures of winter in New Hampshire.
